Spring arrives and it’s that time again. Stone martens become enterprising and seek out engine compartments as ideal hiding places. If a marten scents a rival, it will defend its territory and bite particularly aggressively into hoses and cables. Even if the car is usually protected in the garage, the marten will smell his chance the next time the car is driven out.
